December 2018:

Friday, June 28, 2019

Well, November 12, 2018 I moved out of my beloved Ewing Avenue home and into the Highland Park, Saint Paul, MN area.

Yes, March 2019 we were officially divorced and with great sadness yet amicably we moved onwards, forwards and upwards.

Yes, even though I no longer own the property on Ewing Avenue I’ll always consider Ewing Avenue my first home for which I ever bought as an adult alongside my ex-husband from August 2012-March 2019.

Yes, even to this very day, I do miss Freeway (my little pooch) for which will always be my love and my beloved child/pet.

There’s nothing more difficult in divorce than giving up one’s pooch, however, I knew the best choice for Freeway was to stay at Ewing Avenue where he’s safe and loved and well cared for by my ex-husband and his new girlfriend.

Yes, my heart’s broken to have lost Freeway and my first marriage, however, I’ve been spoken for since November 10, 2018 and I’ve started all over again which is the right thing to do for which is to look forward. Always, forward.

Yes, I was made Executive Director to a publishing company.

All’s well. I’m safe and making my way through the world.

To anyone who’s ever lost their pooch and home in a divorce, well, know this: I’m still here and plan to continue to be here throughout the decades.

No, the Maya don’t believe in suicide.

No, I’m not hopeless. Not ever. Nope.

Yes, I miss Freeway.

Loosing one’s dog is the most difficult thing in the entire world.

Minnesota and the United States, Your beloved daughter’s still here.

Minnesota, I love you.

With All of My Love;

Gabriela
